Former Super Car Guys pitchman arrested on multiple drug charges - KAKE

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

The crazy car pitchman from those Super Car Guys commercials in the Wichita area a few years ago had been arrested on multiple drug charges. 

Wichita police spokesperson Charley Davidson said show 37-year-old Aaron Wirtz was booked Tuesday afternoon for possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, possession of heroin with intent to sell, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of a hallucinogenic with intent to sell, possession of nonnarcotics with intent to sell, unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Officers served a search warrant at Wirtz's home in the 200 block of North Summitlawn, north of Maple and Ridge, stemming from an ongoing narcotics operation. 

“The search warrant was conducted in reference to information received on illegal drug sales at the home,” WPD Captain Jeff Allen said. 

Inside the home, officers found a pound of meth, two ounces of heroin, narcotic pills, a mushroom grow operation, drug paraphernalia, and seized two handguns. Wirtz was arrested without incident and jailed on $51,500 bond.

Wirtz's LinkedIn page says he was the marketing and media manager for Subaru of Wichita and Super Car Guys from April of 2012 to August of 2017. He's the founder of CurveBreak Video Marketing.
