Police impounded the driver’s 2018 McLaren 720S, which has a top speed of about 341 km/h and is valued at about $460,000.

The driver was fined $468 and given three driver penalty points for excessive speeding, along with a $368 fine and four more points for using an electronic device while driving.
It is not the first time the vehicle had been impounded. Insurance for the vehicle currently costs $15,000 per year and is expected to go up following the latest infraction.
