Last week we discovered a French supercar called the Prato Orage, which made an appearance at the 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Prato Automobiles, a startup company, is responsible for this 900-hp supercar which, quite naturally, immediately attracted our attention. Not surprisingly, we weren’t alone. Turns out someone did some digging and now they’re claiming the Prato Orage is nothing more than a re-bodied Chevrolet C6 Corvette.
British auto journalist Lewis Kingston, via The Drive, took to Twitter claiming the Orage is essentially a Corvette. We’ve included several photos of the car as well as video footage of it charging up the Goodwood Hill Climb. And yeah, there is a striking resemblance to the C6. Even its 8.1-liter V8 sounds an awful lot like a Chevy pushrod V8.
