Supercar worth 350000 goes on show at Vospers - Plymouth Herald

A car worth £350,000 parked up at a car showroom and people in their droves turned out to relish in its glory.

The black Ford GT stormed into Vospers at Marsh Mills for one day only yesterday attracting motor fans of all ages to admire its beauty.

The latest Ford GT model, which could be yours for just a mere £350,000 sat as the centre piece in the exciting supercar bonanza.

The Ford Performance Showroom Day held many a vehicle for motor lovers to embrace with everything from a Ford Focus RS and a Ford Mustang to a selection of Heritage Ford Performance vehicles including the Ford RS200, Ford Escort RS Turbo, Ford Escort Cosworth, Ford Puma Racing and Ford Focus RS MK1 just to name a few.

The GT was elaborately wrapped in a rare heritage racing theme and set back behind rope due to its rarity and impressive price.

Young fans such as Myles Gargett managed to get a closer look at the super car which timely arrived during the summer holidays bringing in families for an informative yet fun afternoon out.

The high performance supercar which has 50 sensors and 25 computers built in, delivers comfort and convenience using features familiar to all Ford drivers, from cup holders to SYNC 3 connectivity and Ford Easy Fuel.

The Ford GT will only be visiting select Ford Stores across the country but Vospers jumped at the chance to bring it to the city.

Darren Bennett, Senior Marketing Executive at Vospers told The Herald ahead of the display: "You've never seen anything like this before.

"The Ford GT is all about innovation. From its aerodynamically optimised shape to its multifunctional buttresses to its extraordinarily powerful 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine, everything about the Ford GT is designed to deliver pure performance."

He added: "And everyone at Vospers Marsh Mills is extremely excited to announce its coming to our showroom in Plymouth.

"But there's more - Not content with just displaying the amazing Ford GT plus our very own Ford Mustang and Ford Focus RS - the latest Ford Performance models - we've also arranged to have a selection of Heritage Ford Performance models on display as well; including an original RS200 owned by Peter Vosper.

"It really should be a great event for car and Ford enthusiasts alike.
